A Frisco Women Interview with Sapna Rad: Parenting Coach

Hi Name thank you for joining Frisco Women today for this interview! Let’s get started by telling our readers about yourself and your background!

I’m a conscious parenting coach and NLP practitioner, originally from India. Growing up in a diverse culture shaped my understanding of parenting and the importance of connection. Now based in Frisco, I focus on helping parents develop healthier relationships with their children through self-awareness and empathy. My journey in this field has been deeply fulfilling, as I believe in empowering parents to connect with their kids and create harmonious family dynamics.

That’s awesome. Can you tell us a little about your business? We’d love to know how you got started, and where you’ve grown to today!

I started my business as a conscious parenting coach after realizing the challenges I faced in connecting with my own child. My experience led me to dive deep into conscious parenting principles and NLP techniques, which transformed how I approached parenting. Over the years, I’ve grown my practice, helping hundreds of parents shift from stress and control to connection and understanding. One obstacle I faced early on was balancing my cultural upbringing with modern parenting approaches. By integrating both, I’ve developed strategies that resonate with a diverse range of families.

Do you have any advice for our readers?

In our fast-paced world, the greatest gift we can give ourselves and our children is the ability to connect with our inner selves. Stay present in your parenting journey, allowing for genuine connections. Embrace vulnerability and authenticity, as this fosters deeper relationships. Remember, it’s not about being perfect; it’s about being real. Establish routines that encourage open communication, and prioritize quality time to nurture those connections because it not only fuels connection in your parenting it also enhances connection in all areas of your life.

Now just for fun, what are your local favorites? We always like knowing about people’s favorite restaurants, dishes, drinks, etc!

For me, it's not about the specific places but rather the people I share experiences with. I love spending time at the boardwalks and exploring Legacy West. Whether it's enjoying a nice meal or just taking a stroll, the company makes all the difference! The connections I build in these moments are what truly matter.

Do you know of any best kept secrets ? Something you wish more people knew about?

One of the best-kept secrets I wish more people knew about is the power of self-connection. Taking time to truly understand ourselves—our emotions, needs, and values—can transform our relationships with others and enhance our overall well-being. When we are grounded in our own selves, we become better parents, friends, and partners. I encourage everyone to embrace practices like mindfulness or journaling to foster this connection, as it can lead to more meaningful interactions in all areas of life.

Thank you Sapna for joining us today! Where can our readers find you?
